The daughter of West Papuan political prisoner Filep Karma, (Filep is currently serving a 15 year jail sentence in West Papua simply for raising the West Papuan national flag in 2004) recorded this great video message showing her support for all of us at the Amnesty International Reading Evening With(out) Filep Karma event www.facebook.com/events/225005510995961/ after her visa application to the UK was denied.

Audryne was invited by and very willing to come to the UK for this event and to speak the UK House of Lords as was also arranged but at the last moment, she was denied a visa by the British Government after suspected pressure from the Indonesian Embassy.

The Indonesian government is certainly closely watching all movement by West Papuans and within the Free West Papua Campaign with ever increasing suspicion and fear.

We would like to show our warmest thanks to Audryne Karma and her family for their incredible resilience and blessing for us all during this meeting.

Stay strong, one day both your father and your nation will be free.
